This project is included in the framework of a continuous research for the Energy Planning Division of ENDESA. It is aimed in the development of models for medium term planning for the Iberian generation power system. More specifically the research is focused on three main aspects: improvement of the algorithms used to solve the equilibrium models, modelling of medium term equilibrium models including network constraints (applied to the Iberian market, MIBEL), and modelling stochastic variables through multivariate scenario trees.
